Who We Are

Our vision is to build God’s Kingdom through connections that lead to transformed lives and communities. Our mission is to offer programs that help senior citizens live life more abundantly as a result of services that make a practical and daily difference in their lives.

Wesley Community Centers is a 501c3 agency whose purpose is to provide direct and referral services to low-income senior citizens residing in the South Atlanta neighborhood and surrounding communities. Our roots stem from the early missionary movement of the Methodist Church called the Women’s Board of City Missions. Wesley has been serving persons in the Atlanta area since 1902. Today’s programs started taking shape in the mid-1960’s and have continued to evolve over the years based on community needs and awareness.

· Our programs are supported in part by:

· The  Women’s Division of the General Board of Global Ministries,

· The North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church,

· Fulton Country Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Housing and Human Services Department Grant programs,

· various corporations, foundation grants, local churches, and individuals.

· Our major fundraiser called the Wesley Walk for Others is held annually the fourth Saturday in October.
