PROGRAMS

Bethlehem Senior Center

Bethlehem Senior Center engages seniors who have few resources with services and experiences that improve their quality of life. Learn more on the Bethlehem Senior Center page.

Camp Wesley

Camp Wesley affirms Christian community for God’s children. Each summer, some 200 children and youth from challenging circumstances enjoy a life-changing experience of fun, fellowship and spiritual growth. Learn more about Camp Wesley.

Project Extend

For low-income older adults who live in their own home, Project Extend performs home repairs at no cost to help them maintain independence, dignity and safety. For many of our clients, the only alternatives are to sell the home they worked so hard to acquire—or to live in dangerous conditions. With help from volunteers and funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of Atlanta, Project Extend makes the difference. The program has operated since 1992 and was strongly promoted by the late Mayor Maynard Jackson. Learn more about Project Extend.

Wesley Walk

The annual Wesley Walk for Others, which circles around Stone Mountain during the beauty of a fall morning, is one of our major fund raising events. Each year the Wesley Walk draws hundreds of friends and supporters from throughout North Georgia who are eager to “give feet to the faith of the church.” They collect pledges for each of the 6.2 miles they walk. It’s a delightful morning of fellowship and fun for churches, scout troops and other groups. Learn more about Wesley Walk.
