Helping Senior Citizens experience life more abundantly
Project Extend
Sometimes it is not easy to age gracefully. With costly health concerns, distance from family, and a society that is not always tolerant of the elderly, aging an bring about isolations and uncertainty. In addition, low-income senior homeowners can become vulnerable to home repair scam artist and possibly live in unsafe conditions because of the lack of resources to maintain the houses they have occupied for most of their lives.
Wesley Community Centers provides direct and referral services to the elderly in Atlanta's Southside neighborhoods through its ministry programs of Bethlehem Senior Center, Project Extend and our newest program Project SOAR (Serving Our Aged Responsibly).
We strive to make a practical daily difference in the lives of seniors by helping them remain independent, socially engaged and productive in their own communities. Our programs are open to all persons whose needs match our capabilities, within the confines of our resources and are provided free of charge to eligible senior citizens.
