A home repair program for low income seniors and disabled homeowners
Wesley Community Centers’ home repair program, Project Extend, provides seniors and disabled adults with no-cost housing repairs such as roof repairs or replacements, minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs or upgrades. These repairs make it possible for the seniors to continue living independently in safety and with dignity.
Project Extend not only helps the seniors but also contributes to neighborhood redevelopment and revitalization by addressing code compliance issues and property maintenance.
With the assistance of volunteer groups, both skilled and unskilled, metro Atlanta corporations, service organizations, churches and individuals Project Extend accomplished over 160 repairs in the last year.
