Bethlehem Senior Center
Bethlehem Senior Center engages seniors who have few resources with services and experiences that improve their quality of life.
Located in South Atlanta, Bethlehem has been serving the neighborhood for more than 60 years. Seniors age 60 and above who are independent (requiring no or minimal assistance) come to Bethlehem on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for activities, fellowship and meals. Bethlehem’s caring staff provides a full and interesting schedule of arts and crafts; music and cultural experiences; exercise; programming on health, wellness and safety matters; spiritual enrichment; field trips; consumer education; computer training; and counseling. All seniors are welcome, and transportation is available to those living within the area of service designated by Fulton County for Bethlehem Senior Center.
Homebound Program
For homebound seniors and caregivers, Bethlehem reaches out with counseling, referrals to governmental and social service agencies, and education to assist in care-giving for diabetes, Alzheimer’s Disease and other age-related health conditions.
