When you support Wesley Community Centers, Inc. ... YOU encourage seniors to attend a center that offers daily activities and lasting friendship ... YOU provide information and assistant that encourages homebound seniors and their care-givers with resources and support ... YOU provide home repairs at no cost to seniors, keeping them independent in their own homes ... and YOU enable partnerships with other agencies/churches in the community that provides special programs to youth and children.
There are many ways to support our ministry - four ways are listed below:
(1) Wish List (click on our programs for a list)
(2) Volunteer (We thrive on volunteers... it's a God serving experience). Bethlehem Senior Center: (Sponsor outings or conduct arts and crafts workshop) Project Extend: (Assist staff with home repairs, painting and yard work) Camp Wesley: (Sponsor an educational or craft activity, field trips or Tutor a Math, English or Computer class) Wesleyhouse: (Office skills: answering phones, filing, event mail-outs and much much more.)
(3) Wesley Walk for Others (watch our Upcoming Events for dates and times) Our major fundraiser is the Wesley Walk for Others event held yearly in October at the Stone Mountain Park. Join us at Stone Mountain, Atlanta Motor Speedway (in the spring) or a satellite walk listed in your area!
